Typical questions

I have savings schemes with several pension providers. How do I get an overview?

In some cases, it may be a good idea to combine your savings schemes with one provider. This makes it easier for you to see how much you have saved for your retirement and how to make the most of your savings.

You can see an overview of your pension schemes at pensionsinfo.dk. Read more about combining your pension schemes.

I want to work fewer hours without giving up work altogether. Can I do that?

Yes, you have several options:

The senior scheme is an option we offer members who want to work fewer hours during the last five years before reaching state retirement age. Read more about the senior scheme.

If you are eligible for early retirement benefits, you can take partial early retirement and still work up to 29 hours a week. In that case, you will receive reduced early retirement benefits as you will also receive a salary. Read more about early retirement.

When you reach state retirement age, you can work and still receive your state pension. In that case, you will receive lower state pension benefits than if you do not work. See how much you are allowed to earn while also receiving state pension.

How long in advance should I start planning?

We recommend that you start planning well in advance as you will be making some decisions that need careful consideration and because it takes a little planning on our part to start paying out your benefits.

We advise you to call us some six months in advance, but as long as we have a couple of months before you retire, we should be able to make a good plan together that will provide you with a financially secure retirement.
